Bluewater & Crewdentials: a year in!

Bluewater is known as a powerhouse behind training, recruitment and management in the yachting space. Dedicated to quality and standards and always innovating their client facing and internal processes.

Since we’ve been working with them for over a year I wanted to catch up with the incredible Laurie, Crew Quality Manager, and Sharon, Recruitment Director to ensure we were delivering what we promised. Safe to say, this relationship is going from strength to strength!

Naturally, landing Bluewater as a client was a huge feather in our cap.  They immediately recognised the benefits that an expert solution like Crewdentials could bring to their comprehensive and bespoke systems.

We provide a hybrid solution to Bluewater, using the Crewdentials tech to deliver compliance services and work collaboratively to ensure that every certificate is efficiently and reliably checked and verified at source. When it can’t be verified at source we explain why, and use our tech and decades of maritime and compliance knowledge to undertake available checks.

For Laurie, she has a live view of the current status of her candidates. Happily she's mentioned that Crewdentials has been a huge time saver, with the platform being incredibly user-friendly and one of the first things she opens every morning.

The support we receive has also been outstanding. Ellen is always proactive; if she encounters any issues verifying a certificate, she lets me know immediately, explains the reasons, and continues investigating until she has an answer. Our strong partnership and excellent communication have made my day-to-day work much smoother and more efficient
